Depending on the nature of your project, you may be eligible for funding, mentoring, or support from your Desjardins caisse.

Beyond Funding

Desjardins is actively involved in communities and is committed to strengthening their socioeconomic vitality. Through its partnership with La Ruche, a crowdfunding platform, Desjardins supports a tool that connects nonprofits, businesses, and socioeconomic stakeholders while encouraging citizen participation in local development.

​Desjardins Programs

The Créavenir Youth Entrepreneurship Program supports start-up businesseswith: 

  • Personalized support
  • Financing that meets their needs 

If you’re a young entrepreneur with a start-up project, Créavenir can help you get a grant, a line of credit and a credit card you can use to build your credit history. 


Créavenir eligibility criteria:
  • Be between the ages of  18 and  39;
  • Own a startup (launched no more than three years ago);
  • Not be eligible for traditional financing, or not enough to fund your project;
  • Have your main business account with Desjardins.

In partnership with microcredit organizations from the MicroEntreprendre network, the Desjardins Microcredit to Businesses program supports entrepreneurs by providing them with:  

  • Personalized support 

  • Financing that meets their needs 

Are you an entrepreneur in need of a small loan to launch or grow your business? This program can help you get financing that reflects your repayment capacity. 



Eligibility criteria for the Desjardins Microcredit to Businesses program:

  • Have a viable plan to start a new business or grow an existing one 

  • Be unable to access enough credit through traditional methods 

  • Be a member of a Desjardins caisse and have your main business account with Desjardins

Desjardins caisses have financial resources that are earmarked to support group projects that will benefit the community, primarily through the Community Development Fund (CDF) and various sponsorships. 


Applications are assessed based on each caisse’s investment priorities and the needs of the community.
