The 7 themes of the Positive Footprint Fund
The 7 themes
Your project must be related to the energy transition and fall within at least to one of the following 7 themes:

The project must fund the 1. implementation of a mobilization activity, awareness or education that is linked to the energy transition as well as align with one of the 2.7 themes targeted by the program.
1. Orientations
- Mobilization: Encourage people to take action and help players bring projects to life.
- Awareness: Help make the population more receptive to energy transition messages by raising awareness of the current issues, solutions, and initiatives, etc.
- Education: Explain concepts, debunk myths, teach supporting actions, etc.
2. Themes
- Energy sobriety
- Energy efficiency
- Sustainable mobility
- Living environment development
- Renewable energies
- Sustainable housing
- Circular economy in an energy context
- Open to businesses of all types and accessible to all types of promoters, everywhere in Quebec;
- The offer is conditional upon the success of the crowdfunding campaign on La Ruche;
- A campaign with a minimum goal of $3000 (therefore a financial need of $4500 if we consider the $1500 contribution from the Positive Footprint Fund);
- Applicable exclusively for a new project, i.e. a project with a start and end date as well as an established financial objective. All details are defined in the FMC+ Policy;
- Not intended to fund regular operations or grants;
- Must not have received any other additional national public funding within the framework of the same project or support from Government of Quebec for the same project.
All eligibility criteria are defined in the Positive Footprint Fund Policy.

Schedule your submission interview with an Additional Financing Advisor and submit the required documents.
If your application is approved, you can devote yourself entirely to finalizing your campaign with a Project Activation Specialist. 🙂
- You must clearly define your project in the project segment, which means you must clearly define a start/end date, list the needs to be met and determine the campaign’s financial objective. (The La Ruche team can help you through this process 🙂).
- Expenses that are outside of the project are not eligible for the FMC+ (Review all eligible expenses in the FMC+ Policy).
- To receive the contributions paid from the contributors and the FMC+, the promoter must collect the total amount targeted (or exceed the goal) for the realization of their project;
- Not eligible: Projects with organizations whose objective is to collect sums used strictly to finance/redistribute grants thereafter within the framework of its business.
